Motor Skills Learning Series

What is Motor Learning?
Motor Learning is defined as the process of acquiring and retaining a skill by which the learner, through practice and consolidation, refines and makes automatic the desired movement. 

These Motor Learning concepts:
  • boost learning;
  • increase motivation;
  • positively improve skill development;
  • performance levels in volleyball athletes. ​

Who is Matt Krueger?

Matt Krueger is a Volleyball Canada Youth National Team Assistant Coach (2020), UBC Men’s Volleyball Assistant Coach and holds a Masters in Motor Learning from UBC (MKin 2020).  NEWWAVE Volleyball is his business.

NEWWAVE’s goal is to introduce and increase knowledge of evidence-based skill acquisition concepts. Matt specializes in reading and anticipation of skills. ​​
