Coach Education

Volleyball is a leader in Canada when it comes to coach education. Volleyball has one of the highest NCCP certification rates in Canada. Volleyball is also one of the only sports to not require Performance Coach certification for Canada Games. Instead, the Advanced Development Coach certification is a national equivalent.

Starting your coach education journey now is important for our sport community, for your sport future, and it couldn't be easier (or cheaper!).

Coach Roadmap Program

As part of our 50th Anniversary commitment, we are committed to working directly with coaches to support their coach pathway through our multi-year Coach Roadmap Program pilot.

The Coach Roadmap Program is designed as a fresh start for the Yukon's 120+ coaches across the territory. The program has three main objectives:
  1. Determine the status of all Yukon coaches.
  2. Identify the long-term goal of each coach.
  3. Connect coaches to exclusive Volleyball Canada and Provincial coaching opportunities to achieve their coaching goals.
