Coach EducationVolleyball is a leader in Canada when it comes to coach education. Volleyball has one of the highest NCCP certification rates in Canada. Volleyball is also one of the only sports to not require Performance Coach certification for Canada Games. Instead, the Advanced Development Coach certification is a national equivalent.

Coach Eligibility Policies
Volleyball YukonThis policy outlines the minimum coaching requirements that Yukon coaches must have in order to participate in both in-territory and out-of-territory competition.

Volleyball CanadaThis policy outlines the minimum coaching requirements that all coaches across Canada must have to participate in the 2024 Nationals.

Safe Sport
All coaches are considered Persons In Authority and are subject to the Pan-Canadian Screening Policy.

Requirement 3Get a Criminal Record Check done (ask your club coordinator for a CRC request letter). This has to be manually added to the VRS. If you have already completed one, make sure it doesn't become more than three (3) years old during any part of the upcoming/current season. |
